The Ohio State Calling Program is dedicated to the advancement of The Ohio State University by generating private support while fostering a positive relationship with alumni, parents, and friends. These connections are at the core of the phoning program.
Through phone calls made by a diverse group of students, Ohio State Calling contacts thousands of alumni and friends of the university each year. The student callers talk about the latest happenings on the Ohio State campus and offer the opportunity to give back to the university.
Each caller passes through an extensive interview and training process prior to making their first phone call. Student callers learn valuable communication skills while assisting Ohio State with current fundraising goals. Student callers are also among the highest paid student workers on campus with a starting pay of $9.00/hour.
Located on campus at the northeast corner of Olentangy River Road and Lane Avenue in the Fawcett Center, Ohio State Calling students choose from among seven shifts running six days a week. Students work 12 hours per week.
Interested applicants may contact Ohio State Calling after December 2009, if seeking a position.Calling Program Hours
