The Ohio State Calling Program is dedicated to the advancement of The Ohio State University by generating private support while fostering a positive relationship with alumni, parents, and friends. These connections are at the core of the phoning program.
Through phone calls made by a diverse group of students, the Ohio State Calling Center contacts thousands of alumni and friends of the University each year. The student callers talk about the latest happenings on the Ohio State campus and offer the opportunity to give back to the University.
Each caller passes through an extensive interview and training process prior to making their first phone call. Student callers learn valuable communication skills while assisting Ohio State with current fundraising goals. Student callers are also among the highest paid student workers on campus with a starting pay of $9.00/hour.
Located on campus at the Northeast corner of Olentangy River Road and Lane Avenue in the Fawcett Center, the Calling Program callers choose among eight shifts running every day of the week. Students work 12 hours per week.
